Acting as a tribute to the past and celebrating what’s to come, Espace Centro truly marks the dawn of a new era for the Well Sud neighbourhood on the economic, cultural and community fronts. By uplifting the businesses already well rooted in the area and adding new residents, shops, businesses, and public organizations to the mix, a new synergetic combination will emerge. In collaboration with the City of Sherbrooke, all the efforts are being put forth to improve its downtown area as well as upgrade the quality of life of anyone choosing to call it their home or place of business.
Elevating residents, workers, and businesses all under one tall roof, this 10-storey tower is sure to become the visual hallmark of downtown Sherbrooke.
The Entrepreneurship Headquarters (Quartier général) will sit in the 6-storey tower along with businesses in various fields ranging from knowledge and innovation, to public and paragovernmental organizations.
With over 40,000 square feet, this carefully designed space is meant for the Espace Centro community to meet, celebrate, relax, and let loose. The square will be accessible through Wellington Street South and by taking the monumental stairway via Du Dépôt Street.
A multi-level parking offering over 700 spaces for cars and bikes designed for ease of use. Spaces reserved for carpooling and electric car charging stations are also available.
The EXP-Custeau collaboration is a team of experienced building contractors, architects, engineers, and urban planners who are the sum of two of Sherbrooke’s corporate citizens, EXP and Groupe Custeau. These two teams bring together their human, material, and financial resources to make the Espace Centro project a success and transform downtown Sherbrooke back into the great destination it once was.
